Holt of California service departments are here to help you navigate emissions regulations and standards as well. Over the years, the California Air Resource Board (CARB) has been implementing significant regulations that mandate the lowest emitting non-road equipment, commonly known as Tier 4. This will result in non-road equipment approaching near-zero emissions of particulate matter and oxides of nitrogen. These standards have been presenting numerous challenges to equipment manufacturers with hundreds of products from Caterpillar alone being re-engineered or re-designed to accommodate the lower emitting engines being developed to meet or exceed the standards. Caterpillar has designed a robust Tier 4 introduction plan that allows for the transition from Tier 3 to Tier 4 products, aimed at maximizing the value to you. With each industry facing different challenges and opportunities, we have dedicated staff within our service department that can help you navigate CARB's regulations. Choose from Lift Truck, Construction, Engines and On-Highway Vehicles.
