In order for your application for ThinkBIG to be considered you must take and turn in qualifying scores for three Academic Assessment & Placement tests, prior to the application deadline. These tests may be taken several different ways:
- Take during one of the two scheduled SJDC Open Houses
- Attend a regularly scheduled SJDC assessment test by scheduling an ACE Appointment online.
Please note: A valid SJDC Student ID is required to take the tests or to transfer your scores from tests taken at another institution. Acquiring a student ID can take 3-5 days to process after filling out SJDC's Application for Admission.
Enrolling with SDJC does not obligate you to enroll in, or attend classes there, nor is there any cost associated with submitting the Admission Application.
The ThinkBIG program has three Academic requirements for acceptance into the program. They are as follows:
- Academic Assessment Reading Level II
- Academic Assessment Composition Level III
- Academic Assessment Math Level IV
