The Massey Ferguson 5600 series consists of two models currently – the MF5609 and MF5610. The new line of mid-range tractors boast a 3.3 liter, 3-cylinder engine from AGCO Power and provide 90 or 100 engine horsepower, and 70 or 75 PTO horsepower, at 2200 rpm. The AGCO POWER engine meets new Tier 4i emission requirements. This engine has four valves per cylinder to improve air flow through the engine, enhancing fuel/air mixing. These engines also include electronic engine management with high pressure common rail fuel injection, which atomizes the diesel during injection for exceptional fuel/air mixing and more complete combustion.
Massey Feguson’s 5600 series of mid-range tractors also include an upgrade cab that features a 6 post design and 61 cubic feet on interior space, offering a comfortable working environment. Convenience and functionality is achieved through the new right hand console and pillar console with modern controls, while a dash console features a new layout that includes Dot Matrix capabilities for managing tractor functions. Optional on the 5600 series is the Visio roof-line cab, which increases forward visibility for loader work and the mechanical cab suspension for improving the overall ride experience.
