Hydraulic Services
Full service hydraulic repairs available from Holt of California include cylinder repair and honing, pump & motor testing and rebuild, precision lapping plus custom hose assembly.
Our specialized hydraulic cylinder equipment speeds disassembly and assembly. Light honing of worn cylinders cleans up scratches and imperfections that can cut the performance of your hydraulic system and accelerate seal wear.
No matter how well built or well managed, hydraulic systems require mantenance and repair. When your system needs service, we can help no matter the make or model of your equipment. Our trained technicians use proper tools-backed by the industry’s best parts availability-to keep your machine up and running.
Twice a year or every 1,000 hours, we recommend having your hydraulic systems inspected by our trained service professionals to eliminate unessessary failures.
During our CHS (Custom Hydraulic Service) inspections we:
* Conduct a detailed visual walkaround inspection of the hydraulics,
engine compartment, cab, power train and ground engaging tools
* Drift test all hydraulic cylinders
* Perform complete checks of cycle times and system pressures
* Stall test the hydraulic system
* Take a sample of the hydraulic oil and perform S*O*S Services.
After interpreting the inspection and fluid analysis results, we’ll meet with you to deliver a complete report. If service is necessary, we’ll also provide a quote.
