Scholarships

The Career Education Scholarship Program provides renewable scholarships for individuals who demonstrate high academic achievement and a desire to attend one of the business or technical programs at any of five community colleges in North Central California.

Approved Colleges and Programs

* Butte College - Agriculture Business; Mechanized Agriculture or Welding Technology

* Merced College - Agriculture Business; Mechanized Agriculture or Welding Technology

* Modesto Junior College - Agriculture Business; Mechanized Agriculture or Welding Technology

* San Joaquin Delta College - Agriculture Business; Diesel Technology; Heavy Equipment Technology; Fluid Power & Automation Technology or Welding Technology

* Yuba College - Agriculture Business; Diesel Equipment Technician; Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Metalworking / Welding

Eligibility Requirements

* Must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolling full-time (12 units) in one of the Community College Associate Degree or Certificate Programs approved by Holt of California.

* Have a minimum cumulative High School grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher with B or better grades in any technical or shop classes.

* A Holt of California Career Education Scholarship application must be completed and submitted within the established timeline. Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant for completion prior to the deadline. If applications are incomplete or are received after the deadline, the application will not be considered.
