On Highway Truck

Holt of California is now your complete truck service center. Along with our full support of the Caterpillar Truck Engine series that has previously been released, we now offer full support for all on highway trucks of all brands.  For more than 40 years Holt of California has been offering parts and services to both regional and long haul truck drivers. From our three Truck Service locations in the California Central Valley, Holt has the Factory Trained Service Technicians and support staff to keep your trucks running at peak performance.   

As you may have heard, Cat has decided that effective January 2010 they will no longer supply new on-highway engines for use in the United States (EPA 2010 Emissions Ratings). As all of the truck manufacturers have announced plans to offer their own diesel engines by 2010, Cat decided the time had come for a new approach to the On-Highway Truck business.Through an alliance with Navistar, Cat plans to target the introduction of North American Cat on-highway heavy duty vocational trucks in 2010. These trucks will be Cat trucks, exclusively available through the Cat dealer network for sales, warranty and parts. The Cat on-highway trucks will use a combination of Cat and Navistar power train components and will not use SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) for reducing emissions.

Holt of California will continue to support Cat powered trucks currently in use in North America through our own service shops as well as the various truck service centers that service Cat engines.
